#14 Cherry Cream Cheese Pie
‘Cause, you know, it’s not just food, it’s dessert.
What’s not to love about cherry cream cheese pie? It’s so sweet, so creamy, so… cherry-y. Yeah, it’s pretty much boss.
I consider it my trademark dessert, (though I love almost any form of dessert) since it is my favorite and quite easy to make.
In the interest of sharing joy with world, (in the form of pie of course), here is the recipe for cherry cream cheese pie.
1 graham cracker crust (8 or 9 inch)
1 sweetened condensed milk (14 ounce)
1/3 cup lemon juice
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 can of cherry pie filling (12 ounce)
1 softened package cream cheese (8 ounce)
Beat cream cheese to fluffy cotton cloud-candy goodness. Gradually beat in sweetened condensed milk until smooth. Add vanilla and lemon juice.
Stir stir, stir stir sti-stir!
Pour mixture into crust. Stick in fridge for about 4 hours or until it resembles solidified pudding. Dump cherry pie filling on top.
Eat eat, eat eat ea-eat!
That’s how it’s done.
